FAQ

How do I access my vehicle?

You can access your car by appointment 8.30am- 5.30pm on week days with 48 hrs notice.

10am - 1pm Saturday (Subject to availability).  Bronze customers are charged a £ 20 fee for each access.  Silver has one access a month included, Gold has two.  The £20 fee will be charged if an access appointment is cancelled with less than 24hrs notice.

When I bring my car in for storage, how do I get home?

We can collect or deliver vehicles by transporter or driver collection service.  Alternatively if you drive it to us, we can drop you at a local train or bus station.

What if I need to get to an airport?

We can collect and deliver your car from and to an airport of your choice.  This will be ideal if you are taking a long holiday or working abroad.

What about security?

Security is always a priority.  We take steps to ensure your vehicle is kept safe and away from unwanted attention at all times:

  • Physical Security.  We use an unmarked steel and concrete building in a discreet location known only to us and our customers.  This we protect with heavy duty locks and chains.  Keys are kept off site.

  • Alarm System.  Our alarm systems are hard wired to all access points and is monitored 24/7.

  • CCTV.  We have video cameras are mounted inside and out showing a clear image of all the vehicles in our care with video recording .

What happens about insurance?

All cars must be insured for fire and theft either via your own insurance or by purchasing storage insurance from us. If you want to keep your regular insurer you just need to notify them of where the vehicle is being kept and provide us with confirmation of this. Most insurance companies are satisfied with our level of security and do not have a problem.  We have our own comprehensive motor trade insurance which covers our employees to drive vehicles in and around of the facility as well as for pubic liability.

Do I have to leave my keys?

We will require a set of keys.  Occasionally we will have to move your vehicle to get other vehicles out.  Upon entry to our facility your mileage will be recorded and the condition checked for our records and yours.  We never take vehicles on the road without your permission!

If you don't need frequent access, we can provide space near the back of our facility making it less likely that we will need to move your vehicle.

What do I do if my MOT runs out while in storage?

We offer an MOT service whilst in storage and can carry out repairs if any problems are highlighted (with your permission).

What can I store?

We can store anything within reason including non- runners or project car. We will require extra notice should you need access. We do not allow customers to work on their vehicles in our facility.  If you have problems getting your vehicle to us, please contact us to see what we can do for you.

Why does my car need to be maintained while in storage?

Any car left unused without maintenance for long periods will deteriorate.  See our information section for more details.
